Job responsability

Inspect the received or in-transit goods (quantities, measurements, standards).
Ensure proper handling of non-conformities and claims with suppliers and subcontractors in collaboration with the purchasing department.
Draft various reports (IR, NCR, EXTERNAL REPAIR, etc.).
Develop and maintain quality control procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of measuring instruments in the assigned area.
Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Participate in defining quality criteria.
Maintain and monitor established quality criteria.
Inform the Technical Service Director of any problems or irregularities in the role or department and collaborate on other related tasks.

Desired profile

DEC in mechanical engineering or relevant experience (an asset) or 3 years of experience as a quality controller in a manufacturing environment.
