Job responsability

Design

Participate in the technical design of customized products;
Participate in the technical design of product adaptation requests by customers;
Produce presentation drawings;
Produce or verify manufacturing drawings;
Research new materials and manufacturing processes;
Load calculations and technical specifications.
Participate in cost evaluation with the estimating manager.

Project management

Ensure cohesion of activities to meet objectives, costs, schedules and expected project quality;
Ensure understanding of products by production;
Support production and procurement (spreadsheet, update files in Orchestra)

Continuous improvement

Product improvement in collaboration with quality assurance team members
and industrial designer;
Production-related problem-solving in collaboration with team leaders plant manager, quality assurance and industrial designer.

Desired skills

Desired profile

DEC in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ experience;
Proficiency in ERP software an asset;
Proficiency in drafting software (Solidwork, Autocad, Draftsight);
Proficiency in Office suite;
Bilingualism (an asset).
