Job responsability

Strategic and tactical management

  • Participates in strategic thinking and on the management committee;
  • Implements and monitors department strategies in line with corporate orientations;
  • Develops and implements the annual sales and marketing plan;
  • Establishes, monitors and controls the department’s annual budget;
  • Monitors the market, trends and competition;
  • Supervises, coordinates and organizes the department’s activities (objectives, R&D, advertising, exhibitions, website, social networks);
  • Develops and manages the distribution network.

Personnel management

  • Schedules follow-up meetings with team and provides coaching;
  • Assesses team training needs;
  • Evaluates labor needs (departures, hiring, overtime);
  • Conducts annual team evaluations;
  • Manages disciplinary measures in accordance with the rules, in collaboration with the Human
  • Resources department;
    Approves vacation and leave requests for his or her team;
  • Verifies team time sheets.

 

Desired skills

  • Bilingualism required (written/spoken)
  • Relevant training in sales or customer service
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales
  • Knowledge of the municipal sector and landscape architecture – an asset
  • Good knowledge of ERP software (Orchestra), Microsoft 365, CRM software (Sugar)
