Carry out daily tasks related to the position (interpret production sheets, screw, drill, measure, position slats, measure to maximize pallet space, build pallets, secure furniture to pallets as needed, protect items on each pallet, packaging, etc.)
Perform quality control of products in collaboration with the department manager/team leader
Keep the work area clean and safe
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on tools and equipment in the department
Report any problems, anomalies, or irregularities to the department manager/team leader
Provide support to teammates and other departments when needed
Collaborate with the department manager/team leader on any other related tasks
Blueprint reading skill : Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High school diploma (DES) completed (an asset)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a general laborer in a manufacturing environment
Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented
Manual work – Skilled at using tools
