This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) is designed to help you understand our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and retention of personal information. Preserving the confidentiality of personal information is of great importance to us, which is why we are committed to upholding the strictest ethical standards when handling all information, especially personal data.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT? 

We deal with private and public companies, not individuals. Therefore, the personal information we collect is mainly in the context of our human resources, payroll and recruitment departments.  

We may collect and process different types of personal information. Personal information is any information that could identify or link directly to an individual. It includes:  

  • Identification information, such as first name, last name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number, social insurance number, health insurance number, sex and gender; 
  • Financial information, i.e. banking information, such as salary, address of your financial institution and account number; 
  • Social, family and emergency contact information; 
  • Health, educational and training information, such as medical, educational and professional history.

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

We collect personal information from our employees and candidates via the Web site by filling out a form, by e-mail, by telephone or by paper transmission when, 

  • Receiving an application or curriculum vitae; 
  • Interviews; 
  • Hiring; 
  • Insurance and RRSP enrolment. 

HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

We may use personal information in any of the ways listed below, either with consent or in accordance with other legal bases. In each situation, we specify the purposes for which we use the information: 

  • Recruitment; 
  • Employee file; 
  • Training file; 
  • CNESST file; 
  • Insurance benefits and RRSPs; 
  • Compensation. 

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

Personal information may be shared with internal employees, for the purposes listed above, provided that such information is necessary for the performance of their duties. This information is used internally on a confidential and restricted basis. Any internal individual with access to personal employee information has signed a confidentiality agreement. 

The company may disclose personal information to external partners, for the purposes listed above, such as Service Québec, Service Canada, CNESST, the Prevention mutual, an accounting firm, an insurance company, an IT service and to whom it may concern by legal obligation. 

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

Personal information will only be retained for the period required for the purposes set out in this Policy, as well as to comply with our legal obligations.

WHERE DO WE STORE PERSONAL INFORMATION AND TRANSFERS OUTSIDE QUEBEC? 

The personal information we collect via paper transmission is kept in secure filing cabinets. The majority of personal information is stored in a secure computer environment.  

Please note that no personal information is transferred outside Quebec. 

HOW DO WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

The personal information we collect is kept in a secure environment, using firewalls, computer backups, passwords, access management for authorized persons, locked filing cabinets and restricted access to premises.  

The company periodically reviews the security measures in place to ensure that they are properly applied, effective and relevant to the evolution of information systems and technologies.  We also collaborate with an IT department that monitors technological security measures. 

WHAT RIGHTS DOES AN INDIVIDUAL HAVE WITH RESPECT TO HIS OR HER PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

All individuals have the right to access, correct, rectify, de-index, anonymize and withdraw their personal information.
